What is the price of absent-mindedness?

$1

That's the cost of upgrading your expired bus ticket because you didn't pull the cord at the right time and you somehow ended up on the North side of the 2nd Narrows, several km's, many minutes and a bridge away from your home.

Lindsay, Happy Birthday!!
I hope you have way better friends to celebrate with this year than the ones who were all late in showing up at a Victoria martini bar a few years ago (reminiscent of a sex and the city episode)...ha ha ha...
Welcome to your late 20s my friend - I'm told it only gets better and so far, so true!! Have a fabulous day and a year of fulfilled wishes.
Love Cyber Jess
P.S. sorry i didn't have a better card than posting on your blog

ah cyber jess...you have reminded me why I have a fear of organizing birthday dinners for myself.
That Sex and the City episode does ring awfully familiar.
And around my office, the same types of comments.
"24! Fuck I"m old!"....hmph

Thanks for the posting Birds-Nest-Jess! I haven't heard from you for a while so I"m glad to hear you haven't been eaten by a crocodile or suffocated by a Boston Cream Donught.
